Glowing Glucose Monitor Developed in Japan

Diabetics, listen up! Scientists in Japan’s Tokyo U. have developed a new glucose monitor, an implant which glows when exposed to high glucose levels. When compared to it’s previous iterations it is said that this has an improvement in both stability and accuracy, as well as being only 1 mm thick and requiring no oxygen to operate. In lab testing indicates the tech to work in mice for 140 days at a time!

HTC hit with patent infringement problems.

The International Trade Commission has just made an initial determination in a recent patent infringement case between Apple and HTC, and the current information, seems to point to HTC’s guilt. So if this continues, it’s possible that select HTC products would be banned from ever arriving in the US. I just hope that this never happens! But with Apple calling the shots on that, I wouldn’t doubt them trying to take out their competition.

HTC has been called out as being guilty of infringing on two patents. Sadly, I’m not 100% on the actual infringements made, however if they are Apple’s patents, you can bet they’ll <sarcasm>change everything.</sarcasm>

Now I would just like to say… This, right here changes everything… For the better! This is the kind of thing, that makes nerds like me so happy they could cry! This is the FIRST Syntheo-Organic organ ever made, for medical purpose! With a 0% YES I said 0% rejection rate!!! Thank you humanity! Who would think that by 2011, the human race could BUILD spare parts for itself!!

This is one of the times in my life, I think I can say, I’m proud to be human!
